Misti L. Beanland was born in
Lawton, Oklahoma
on June 27, 1971. She was admitted to the State Bar of Oklahoma in 1996, the State Bar of Texas in 1997, and, subsequently, to the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western
U.S.
District Courts. Ms. Beanland received a B.S. from Southern Nazarene University in 1993, (Magna Cum Laude) and a J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1996. Ms. Beanland served as an Assistant District Attorney for the 2nd Judicial District of Oklahoma from 1998 through 2000 and, from 1998 through 2000, was a partner with the firm of Cummins & Beanland, where she primarily practiced family law, probate law, and commercial litigation. Ms. Beanland is a member of the Texas Bar Association, and Oklahoma Bar Association. She currently serves as Chair of the Dallas Young Construction Lawyers Section of the Texas Bar Association and is a speaker to attorneys and construction groups concerning construction law and collection issues.
